The British car manufacturer Land Rover, a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company Premier Automotive Group (PAG) will present its new model concept to the international Auto North America Show (NAIAS) in Detroit in January 2008. The Land Rover LRX concept will make its world premiere at the motor show's most prestigious United States and thrill the crowd in Detroit. According to Land Rover, the LRX concept is a vision of the company and changing "fat" design Land Rover which shows the "gradual transition into new markets while remaining true to its core values." Furthermore, the concept Land Rover LRX mark the 60th anniversary of the British carmaker.
Phil Popham, managing director of Land Rover, the director said: "The LRX concept offers a powerful message that we are serious about sustainability as we are sure of the relevance and desirability of our vehicles. LRX is in every respect a Land Rover, but it'sa very different Land Rover.
