Where is the trunk emergency on my Hyundai Accent 98?
I bought a car that has the handle of the hatch broken. I want to release the trunk and was told it may be safe, somewhere on the car. Someone knows where that may be? I need to replace the tail light housing! It's a 1998 Hyundai Accent, base model.
Check with the dealer My 2001 model has a release lever below the driver's seat, Trace where the cable goes out, you may be able to get this cable to unlock the trunk hatch (you may need a vehicle mechanic)
