2001 Eclipse: What size speakers do I need in the front doors? Sheet stock for infinity?
Hi, I have a 2001 GT Eclipse complete with the Infinity audio system. Now I went to crutchfield.com and they told me the door speakers are 6.75'', other sites tell me 6.5''What is the size to fit these speakers? And anyone know the specifications on the infinity speakers who come from the actions of the GT? They are pretty good, but not the best.
I would trust Crutchfield as they tear actually down and measure the space allowed. Some sites say 6.5 "because most players come with an adapter plate with a so make him meet 6.75 "holes. The main problem with the plant systems is not necessarily the actors, particularly Infinity case. Usually it is the limited power that the amp used to lower the problem. That and crosses not optimized. You might look into replacing the Amp with one that is more powerful (not too much), cleaner, and more passing opportunities that you can control.
